These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") outline the agreement between Manx Moss Master ("we", "us", "our") and the client ("you", "the customer"). By confirming a booking, accepting a quote, or using our website, you agree to comply with the following terms.

1. Our Services
1.1 We provide professional exterior maintenance, including but not limited to moss removal, pressure washing, soft washing, and driveway/patio restoration.
1.2 All services are subject to site surveys and weather conditions. We reserve the right to adjust our approach based on the specific requirements of your property's surfaces.
1.3 For safety reasons, we may refuse to carry out work if the site is deemed hazardous or if environmental conditions (e.g., high winds or freezing temperatures) pose a risk.

2. Quotations & Pricing
2.1 Estimates are based on the information provided or a visual inspection and remain valid for 30 days.
2.2 We reserve the right to amend the final price if:

The scope of work is changed by the customer.
Access to the work area is restricted or obstructed.
Hidden issues are discovered that require additional time or specialised materials.

2.3 Any price increases will be discussed and authorised by you before the extra work begins.

3. Scheduling & Cancellations
3.1 A booking is confirmed once we have provided a date and received your acknowledgement.
3.2 We require a minimum of 24 hours notice for any cancellations or requests to reschedule.
3.3 Failure to provide notice or preventing access on the day of the appointment may result in a call-out fee or loss of deposit (where applicable).
3.4 Due to the nature of our work, we may need to reschedule due to extreme weather or equipment maintenance. We will notify you as early as possible in such instances.

4. Payments
4.1 Invoices are due for payment upon completion of the work, unless prior written arrangements have been made.
4.2 We accept Cash & Bank Transfer.
4.3 Late payments may be subject to interest charges in accordance with Manx commercial law.

5. Customer Responsibilities
5.1 You agree to provide clear and safe access to all areas requiring treatment.
5.2 Unless otherwise agreed, you are responsible for providing access to a working water supply and, if necessary, an electrical point.
5.3 Please move any outdoor furniture, vehicles, or fragile items away from the work zone prior to our arrival.

6. Liability & Pre-existing Conditions
6.1 While we operate with the utmost care, we are not liable for damage resulting from the inherent fragility or pre-existing defects of your property, such as:

Degraded or blown render and loose pointing.
Frost-damaged or cracked bricks, tiles, and paving.
Water ingress through faulty window seals or structural cracks.

6.2 Any concerns regarding the service must be reported to Manx Moss Master within 48 hours of job completion.
6.3 Our total liability is limited to the value of the service provided.

7. Performance Disclaimer
7.1 We aim for a "Master" finish; however, we cannot guarantee the 100% removal of permanent stains (such as oil, deep-set lichen "black spot," or chemical spills) that have permanently altered the substrate.
7.2 Natural variations in stone and concrete may become more apparent once organic growth is removed.

8. Safety, Pets & Children
8.1 To ensure safety, children and pets must remain indoors or away from the working area while equipment and cleaning solutions are in use.

9. Media & Marketing
9.1 We frequently take photographs and videos of our work. You agree that these "Before & After" images may be used for our portfolio and marketing purposes.
9.2 If you prefer that images of your property are not used publicly, please inform us in writing prior to the commencement of work.

10. Governing Law
10.1 These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Isle of Man.
10.2 Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Manx Courts.
